hi guys,
i know i said i was going to document my tomato pruning process here but its going to take some time so just chill and read this post aight!?
So ive been thinking about traveling...and about money....and now that im doing some traveling again ive come across decisions i have to make...AGAIN! Im such a bad decision maker when it comes to making them. its frustrating. I thought i had it all worked out but lying pool side today got me thinking about my options - please give me your thoughts.
Option #1 - original idea
go sailing in the whitsundays, from there go to cairns, from there fly to alice springs (flight $320), take a tour to ayers rock (roughly $300) from there take the Ghan to adelaid ($335) . From adelaid take a great ocean road tour ($200) to melbourne. then fly up to sydney or surfers paradise...yadda yadda what im deciding on now is my first 2 weeks of may
Option #2 - new idea
go sailing in the whitsundays - use my already paid for bus ticket to slowly make my way up to cairns (taking 2 weeks or so) and then fly from cairns to adelaid for about $260, skipping alice springs, ayers rock and the ghan. 3 things that i was looking forward to seeing but i dont know if i'll have the money for it.
I think it would be really nice to spend 2 weeks up north bathing in the sun, snorkelling in the GBR and just chilling out rather then running around trying to get to this place at this time etc, etc - but again, when is the next time i will be here? Should i take advantage of the time i have now and just spend my money willy-nilly? Or should i be more careful and just take it all very slow? i only have a bit more then a month left here, is it worth it to rush?
opinions are greatly encouraged
alia

Good Morning Alia;
Decisions, decisions! Of course, I am all for Option 1. Although Option 2 sounds lovely, just lazing around. However, you would probably kick yourself for being so close and not seeing all that Australia has to offer. Take the money out of the equation! Decide that way. Would you do Option 1 if you had all the money in the world? Bali and Thailand are not expensive places to go. Keep that in mind.
We loves you!
Mamma
i think your mom is right, you shouldn't base your decision on the money although i know it's hard not to think about it. but remember when are you likely to go back to australia to see all that stuff you are looking forward to. besides there are beaches galore in bali and thailand just waiting for you to laze around on!!
hope that helps :)
and i agree with both your mom, and kelley. unless you know when your going back to australia... then do all your touristy stuff, and then you won't be kicking yourself on the things you wish you would've done. and if money runs that low, you can always count on the "mommy & daddy" bank for a loan.
i know you'll make the reight decision for you. your a smart girl. still so proud. thinking of you.
Christine.
Me again. Hi Honey. You have some very wise and smart friends I think. Have you considered making your way to Ares Rock, have the train experience to Adelaide and then fly from there to Sydney, saving yourself some time. Being able to spend more time on the other? Or a couple days on the beach in Cairns? You miss the coast tour, but then you have something to come back for. Just an idea.....
love, love, love.
Mamma
you could just flip a coin!
but really, do what you want and don't worry about money so much.
i booked my appointment at the travel clinic. on two and a half months to go!
You live once, ONE TIME.
If you will still have money left or can work once your done option one sounds great.
I missed out on a lot of things on my trip becuase there was no money. On the same token though I am sitll in debt becuase of my trip if you have to cut somthing out because of money only choose to do so beucase not enough money can be a real damper on an adventure.
So choose wisley my dear , Id say go for option one , or MAYBE mix things up a little and throw one and two togehter nad make option three.
Love ya.
Take care toots
Hi hun....I think opion 2 is the smartest. U have a already paided for ticket, u get to see more, and like u said u have a month to go, so see as much as u can!
